The Bethlehem House Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This unique gallery is difficult to forget simply because it is set up like a house. Every room in the house hosts a different exhibit; each room is setup exactly like a normal house, except the decorations are what’s being displayed. When first entering, visitors are greeted by a bronze statue of a woman before they see the living room area with paintings and woodwork. The foyer leads to a small sitting room filled with several small terracotta sculptures of dancers and some

contemporary photography. From the sitting room, visitors are guided by the flow of the house into a dining room with abstract paintings, glass dishes, and woodwork. The dining room leads to a lounge area with sculptures, more abstract paintings, woodwork, rugs, and even a guitar. Another guitar is found in the bedroom that branches off the lounge; this bedroom also holds a bronze statue of the Roman goddess Venus, even more woodwork, and holographic photos of ballerinas on the walls. Once you leave the bedroom, you are directed back to the foyer where you can talk to the assistant director Katie Hughes about the setup and exhibits.

Each room flows into the next and it hardly feels as though you are in an art gallery. Instead, visitors feel as though they are visiting someone's house and simply admiring the decorations and furniture. Even though I am not a fan of most contemporary art, the setup of this gallery was very interesting and hard to forget. I particularly enjoyed the room with terracotta sculptures of dancers, as well as the foyer and living room areas.
