Jules Buck Jones is an artist who draws images based on nature. His draws and paints hybrid animals as well as forest related images. According to the Conduit Gallery, Jones has two college degrees: a Masters of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Texas. However, Jones appears to do more than painting. On his website, Jones includes videos that show him piecing together painted 3D pieces, some of which incorporate videos or other moving images to further emphasise whatever point Jones is trying to make. Additionally, Jones made videos that involve actors interacting with his art as part of the artwork. I find that most of Jones art is very chaotic and colorful, his forest images more so than animal hybrid ones. If Jones art is not directly depicting animals and nature, then it is depicting something related to the environment. Also, I think that children would be more interested in Jones’s 3D art than his 2D art because it's most likely larger presence would easily catch their attention.
